If India stops here, “we will stop too”, says Pakistan minister

Pakistan's foreign minister said on Saturday (10) that if India stops the attacks, Islamabad will also stop.
“If there is an iota of sanity, India will stop it, and if they stop it, so will we,” Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar said on camera in an interview with a local TV station.
“We genuinely want peace without the hegemony of any country,” Dar said.
His comments came after India and Pakistan launched a fresh round of military operations against each other on Saturday, accusing each other of escalating measures.
New climbThe Pakistani army has begun its retaliation against “Indian aggression,” Pakistani state TV announced on Saturday (10), local time.
The announcement came shortly after Pakistan claimed that India had attacked several of its military air bases.
The Pakistani army has reported that it has launched “Operation Bunyanun Marsoos” in retaliation for “Indian aggression”.
“Pakistan responds!!” the statement said. The operation was named after a verse in the Quran that means “unbreakable wall.”
“The Brahmos depot has been destroyed in the Bias area,” the army said early Saturday local time, adding that strikes on several other locations were underway.
The BrahMos is a long-range supersonic cruise missile. Pakistan also reported that it struck India's Pathankot airfield and Udhampur Air Station.
The Pakistani army claimed that in a “tit-for-tat” retaliation, it attacked Indian air bases that were used to launch missiles at Pakistan.
